Pregnancy Massage

Having just completed advanced training in massage during pregnancy, I’m now feeling full of inspiration to provide support for mother’s-to-be and their growing little ones. It’s just amazing what the research shows – that when women have enjoyed regular massage during pregnancy, midwives have observed marked decrease in the duration of the first stage of labour, stronger bonding between mother and child, greater awareness of the mother’s body and emotions, and an increase in health, vitality and well being of newborns, particularly noting they are more settled with sleeping and eating. I have always loved working with pregnant women and babies, and now I am really happy to have more tools to nourish all involved during this magical – and often challenging – transition. Yay!
